Marvin’s Magic, an established brand within the magic and entertainment industry, faced critical challenges with their Woocommerce website and wished to transition over to Shopify.
Among multiple issues, the site’s security vulnerabilities and outdated features hindered the company’s ability to add new functionality.
The primary goal was to migrate to Shopify, ensuring a modern, secure, and feature-rich platform capable of converting visitors into high-value customers.
The brand spanking new Marvin’s Magic website boasts several enhancements designed to improve the customer experience.
Some magical key features include a streamlined checkout system, strategic product call-to-actions (CTAs), up-selling and cross-selling capabilities, wish lists, and more.
These changes directly address issues related to abandoned checkouts and average order values, resulting in a more user-friendly and conversion-focused platform.
During the Black Friday/Cyber Monday period they saw a significant 84% increase in sales. Additionally a substantial 27% increase in year-to-date (YTD) sales compared to the same period in 2022.
Also a notable 24% increase in YTD orders compared to the previous year. Bryce Vernon, Ecommerce Executive, adds that they have seen “successful re-engagement of returning customers, a new dimension for the brand”.
“We had fantastic support (day and night) from Fred and Chris throughout the project, as well as Nath (who felt like an additional account manager at times!). We also had a very last minute ad-hoc task that the team managed to pull some time together in order to get completed, which was very much appreciated from us. Even when closed, the support is an email/text away which is very reassuring if something urgent suddenly comes up.”
